Rodrigo Saldaña Old Vines, red wine aged 18 months in French oak barrels, made by Familia Landete wineries with D.O. Ribera de Duero.
Old vineyard from one of the highest areas of the Duero riverbank, in extreme climate with very cold winters and summers with temperatures that can reach 40º make these vineyards unique. Maceration for 25 days, manolactic fermentation in 500-liter American oak barrels, aging for 18 months in 100% French oak.
At sight it appears as a bright wine with a violet rim, dark red color, on the nose aromas of black fruit, vanilla and nutmeg, a slight mineral touch. In the mouth, a highly integrated wood with spicy flavors is perceived, very expressive and meaty.
