El Nido is one of the most emblematic red wines of the D.O. Jumilla, elaborated by Bodegas el Nido belongs to the Gil Family Estates group. It is a tasty, complex, powerful wine.
El Nido is made with the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Monastrell (30%), from very old vineyards that present a very low yield and grapes of a high quality. Manual harvest and transport to the winery in small boxes that prevent premature grape breakage. Once in the winery the grape is subjected to a selection process. Once the maceration and fermentation process is finished, it is passed to French and American oak barrels for malolactic fermentation, in which it remains for 20-24 months.
