Almirez

Almirez is a red wine from O.D. Bull made by Bodega Teso La Monja in Valdefinjas, Zamora.

The grape comes from different vineyards with an average age of 15-65 years. It is harvested manually and a first selection is made in the vineyard, after which the selection is finalized on a table in the winery.

Cherry-red color, very lively with violet reflections of high layer, clean and very bright.

In the nose it emphasizes the red fruit (blackberries and raspberries) that gains intensity and maturity with the aeration. Many spicy notes, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, spicy spices and subtle mineral touches. Elegant background of toasted and smoked. The wood is very well integrated because it does not detract from the fruit, making this wine the best expression of the grape.

An entry in mouth with volume, very pleasant of passage tasty and fleshy, extremely fine and elegant of silky texture. Tannins polished and good acidity. Very balanced. Long and persistent finish with fruity sensations.
