D.O Calatayud

The Denomination of Origin Calatayud was created in 1989. The area it occupies extends over an exceptional area for growing grapes. The characteristics of its wines are the result of the interaction of the microclimate, the wide range of soils and a grape, such as the Garnacha, with a perfect adaptation to the area, producing wines with a marked personality.

The predominant variety of grape is the Red Garnacha, our greatest heritage, with plantations that in many cases are over 50 years old and are called “Viñas Viejas” in the area.
